As a Senior within the Audit and Assurance team, you will be working with a team of professionals to provide expert auditing services, build strong client relationships, and ensure that audits are conducted with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting and auditing principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work comfortably with numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to understand client businesses and provide tailored audit solutions.
- Interact with clients to gather essential data and information needed for audits.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and their staff.
- Complete audit working papers, documenting tests and findings accurately.
- Manage the audit engagement from planning to completion within the set timeframes, ensuring high standards and keeping engagement leaders informed.
- Analyse financial data and assess the accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members while maintaining effective communication with audit managers.

Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of current auditing techniques.
- Experience and familiarity with GAPSME, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Well-organized, flexible, and a strong team player.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Education and Experience
- ACCA qualification (or similar) in the final stages or already obtained.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in auditing.
