Skilled Machine Operator

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Machine Operator to join our client's team.

The selected candidate will form part of the corrugator team, where teamwork, accuracy, and effective communication are essential. The role requires an energetic and proactive person who can maintain high standards in a fast-paced production environment. The Skilled Operator will be responsible for operating machinery, supporting production processes, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate corrugator machinery according to procedures and supporting documentation.
• Prepare materials, liner rolls, splices, and machine settings to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor and adjust starch systems, webs, preheaters, and machine settings to achieve quality output.
• Carry out quality checks and complete production, machine, safety, and quality reports accurately.
• Support troubleshooting, minor preventive maintenance, material handling, and other corrugator areas when required.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience operating mechanical machinery.
• Experience in setting up machinery.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Good command of the English language.
• Ability to work safely, accurately, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
