Finance Manager

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our clients team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager role supports the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, compliance, and process improvements while overseeing specific operational areas and assisting in management reporting. The position provides oversight to certain finance sub-teams and ensures effective communication of updates to senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in management accounts and budget preparation, including oversight of property-related operations and reporting

• Oversee Billing, Creditors, and Cash Teams, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and regular reporting to senior finance leadership

• Review monthly reconciliations, including fixed assets, creditors, and inter-company balances

• Support tax-related obligations such as VAT, ECO tax, Intrastat, tax credits, and EU funding processes

• Assist with audits, board reports, regulatory submissions, SOP reviews, and finance process improvements

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager role (hospitality industry experience is an asset)

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
