Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a leadership role that combines operational efficiency with strategic direction to drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day hotel operations across all departments.

  • Work closely with department heads through regular meetings and performance reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with service standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Lead projects including refurbishments, capital works, and service improvement initiatives.

  • Handle guest feedback, resolve service issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and annual sales & marketing plans.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and service quality targets.

  • Set short- and long-term goals, driving efficiency and cost-saving measures.

  • Monitor business results, adjust operational strategies, and report regularly to stakeholders.

  • Optimize room yield and overall revenue through effective sales and yield management.

  • Oversee procurement processes and vendor negotiations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Degree/diploma in Hotel Management or related discipline.

  • 5+ years hospitality experience, with at least 4 years in management.

  • Previous senior role as HOD, Assistant GM, or Executive Assistant Manager.

  • Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering strong results.

Core Competencies

  • Leadership, organizational, and decision-making strengths.

  • Skilled in financial planning, P&L management, and business strategy.

  • Proficient in MS Office and hospitality software (POS, PMS, restaurant systems).

  • Up-to-date knowledge of hospitality industry trends and standards.
