Job description:

We're seeking a Business Analyst for our client based in Bengaluru. 

Our client is India's largest bike-taxi platform, steadily venturing into Auto, Cabs Delivery, Rental, and more. Currently, present in 100+ cities, they are growing close to ~50% year-on-year with steady funding. They have changed the concept of intra-city travel and made last-mile connectivity affordable to all. Along with being the #1 choice of 40 million people, they have also built a solid captain base of over 5 million registered captains, who have bettered their lives. As a Business Analyst, you are expected to work closely with Operations, product and business teams on day to day business problem statements. You will be involved in problem identification through metric diagnostics, churning the data and identifying the root cause of the problem, testing various hypothesis and give constant inputs to the business teams to improve the metrics. You will be part of Business Insights team that delivers value to business through identifying opportunities for growth, spend optimization and enhancing customer, captain and marketplace experience. You will collaborate with teams across the org, driving analysis you are proud of, and deliver amazing results inline with the organizational goals. You would also be required to understand the data quality problems and fix and build dashboards to consume by the end users across the organization.

Work Location: Bengaluru, KA, India (WFO)

Experience: 6+ Years in logistics domain

Notice Period: Immediate to max. 30 days

Job Requirements:

6+ years of experience in Analytics. Preferably in Logistics domains

  • Excellent SQL skills and experienced with at least one scripting language preferably python
  • Should have a good understanding of excel and spreadsheets
  • Create/design fact tables and build storylines to enable reliable and accurate analysis
  • Excellent data visualization skills and story telling through dashboards
  • New methodologies and approaches to data collection, data cleaning and data analysis process
  • Ability to execute on decisions while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to use a combination of analytics, data visualization to identify gaps in current solutions as well as prototype new MVP to address those gaps
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders, highlighting trends, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Perform deep dive analysis to understand problems in detail & support data backed decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to align analytics initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Customer Acquisition, Growth, and Marketing analytics or Supply analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis and mining and deriving insights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Technical skills - SQL, Python, Excel and Data Visualization
  • Good to Have - Metabase, Statistics, Machine Learning
