The Role: Capital Markets Senior Manager

Were looking for a strategic, hands-on Capital Markets Senior Manager to play a pivotal role in securing and optimizing the funding required to drive the companys continued growth especially as it scales its operations in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to design and execute innovative capital strategies, build relationships with top-tier financial institutions, and drive the evolution of debt structures across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Funding Strategy & Investor Relations

  • Design and execute capital markets strategies to secure and diversify funding sources across operating countries, including Brazil.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with banks, investment funds, financial institutions, and multilaterals.
  • Negotiate, structure, and close debt transactions aligned with financial and strategic objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end debt fundraising processes from due diligence and legal structuring to execution and drawdowns.

Liquidity & Risk Management

  • Develop strategies to optimize liquidity and ensure financial flexibility while minimizing cost of capital.
  • Monitor compliance with debt covenants and reporting obligations tied to active funding facilities.
  • Implement risk mitigation tools and hedging strategies to manage FX and interest rate exposure.

Debt Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee utilization and performance of existing credit lines to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Produce detailed reports for lenders, investors, and the Board covering debt performance and capital strategy.
  • Drive automation and process efficiency in debt management, including payment workflows and interest tracking.

Debt Modeling & Structure Optimization

  • Maintain and refine debt strategy models to support financial planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize capital structure through innovative funding instruments and risk-sharing facilities.
  • Integrate best practices and tech-enabled analytics into debt modeling and capital allocation processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in debt capital markets, investment banking, structured finance, venture debt, or related areas.
  • Proven track record leading debt fundraising processes in emerging markets ideally in Brazil or other Latin American countries.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities; SQL or database knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of funding instruments, credit structuring, financial due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); Portuguese is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth fintech or startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on, owner mentality with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Location: São Paulo (preferred) or Mexico City. Candidates based in Buenos Aires, Santiago, or Bogotá will also be considered.
