What Youll Be Doing

  • Own and lead the daily accounting operations in Mexico, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial records are compliant with IFRS and internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Strengthen and streamline accounting processes, controls, and automation.
  • Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to ensure timely compliance.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Operations, and other teams to ensure accurate accounting for new projects.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting systems and tools.
  • Guide and oversee the work of junior accountants and external service providers.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably in high-growth companies.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
  • Proven experience in fintech, SaaS, or consumer lending environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and organizational skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English (B2 or above) written and spoken.
