The Tides Seafood & Provisions in beautiful Safety Harbor is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Assistant Front of House Manager to join our crew! Located right in the heart of town, we pride ourselves on serving up the finest "tides" in Florida with a vibe thats as sophisticated as it is welcoming.
What Youll Be Doing
As our Assistant FOH Manager, you aren't just a "floor walker." You are the conductor of the dining room symphony. Your goal is to ensure every guest leaves dreaming about their next visit.
- Lead the Crew: Supervise, mentor, and motivate our FOH team (servers, hosts, and bartenders) to deliver world-class service.
- Master the Floor: Manage guest seating, handle high-pressure rushes with grace, and resolve any guest concerns with a "yes, and" attitude.
- Operational Excellence: Assist the General Manager with scheduling, inventory of provisions, and opening/closing procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure the dining room aesthetic and service standards remain top-tier, from the first greeting to the final polished glass.
- Training: Help onboard new talent and keep the team sharp on our rotating seasonal seafood offerings and wine pairings.
The Hook (Requirements)
We are looking for a leader who isn't afraid to get their hands salty. To be considered, youll need:
- Experience: At least 3 years of full service restaurant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisor or leadership role.
- Passion: A genuine love for seafood and local provisions. You should be able to talk about oysters and catch-varietals with enthusiasm!
- Skills: Strong communication, a cool head under pressure, and basic tech-savviness (POS systems, reservation software).
- Availability: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays—the times when the "tide" is highest!
