Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage our general accounting functions. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a growing company dedicated to improving healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial management, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage payroll 
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with other team members 
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a remote or part-time capacity
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Freshbooks) 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
