Role Description

We are seeking a German Digital Content Moderator to join our team in Barcelona. This is a full-time hybrid role, with the flexibility to work remotely on certain days. The Content Moderator will be responsible for ensuring online safety and quality by reviewing and moderating user-generated content in line with company policies. Additional responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, providing technical support, and training on content policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate German-language content (text, images, videos) to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Identify and escalate potentially harmful, inappropriate, or non-compliant content.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency while meeting moderation deadlines.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide technical support when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance content policies and enforcement procedures.
  • Provide insights and reports on content trends, violations, and moderation challenges.

Qualifications

  • Native-level proficiency in German and strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess and evaluate content effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and users.
  • Customer service experience in handling inquiries and concerns.
  • Technical support knowledge to assist users with content-related issues.
  • Ability to train on content policies and moderation techniques.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid work environment.
  • Prior experience in content moderation, customer support, or a related field is a plus.
