A well-established, multi-office regional law firm is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Operating Officer to help lead its business operations into its next chapter.

Finance and administrative functions

Information technology and systems infrastructure

Marketing and business development operations

Recruiting and professional staff functions

Facilities and office operations across multiple locations

Vendor relationships and operational support services

Organizational planning and firm-wide initiatives

Beyond functional oversight, you'll play an active role in shaping the firm's future:

Partner with firm leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

Lead operational improvements and find smarter ways to do things

Build the infrastructure and systems that support a growing, scalable firm

Develop and track operational metrics that inform good decisions

Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning

Lead and develop administrative teams across the firm

Drive technology adoption and modernization efforts

Guide change management and long-term organizational development

The firm is looking for a collaborative, strategic executive who knows how to lead through complexity and genuinely enjoys it. You're someone who builds trust quickly, communicates clearly, and finds energy in helping organizations become better versions of themselves.

You'll be a strong fit if you bring:

7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, administration, or executive management

A track record of leading multiple business functions and administrative teams

Strong financial, operational, and organizational management skills

Experience driving strategic initiatives and supporting organizational growth

Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities

Executive presence with the ability to influence across diverse groups

Experience in law firms, professional services, consulting, accounting, or similarly sophisticated environments (preferred, not required)
