Job summary

We are seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our temp staffing team. You will be responsible for managing candidate relationships, booking shifts, and maintaining strong client partnerships across hospitals, nursing homes, and supported living services.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working with both candidates and clients to deliver timely, high-quality staffing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Engagement & Bookings

  • Manage shift bookings and rota planning for temporary care/support staff.
  • Match cleared candidates to client requests based on availability, skills, and location.
  • Ensure all candidate details and shift confirmations are accurately recorded on internal systems.
  • Maintain regular contact with workers to build trust, secure availability, and increase retention.

Compliance & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure all workers are fully vetted, trained, and compliant before booking.
  • Follow internal protocols for documentation, training expiry checks, and right-to-work processes.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a point of contact for clients including hospitals and nursing homes.
  • Understand client staffing needs and respond quickly to shift requests.
  • Deliver exceptional service and maintain high fill rates through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Escalate client issues, feedback, or urgent needs to the appropriate internal teams.

Operational Support & Reporting

  • Use internal systems to track candidate availability, bookings, and performance.
  • Achieve individual and team KPIs around bookings, client satisfaction, and worker utilisation.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitmenthealthcare preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Tech-savvy, with confidence using CRM/ATS platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
