Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Candidate Engagement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is key to ensuring that candidate availability is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational needs. You will act as the link between our recruitment system (Birdie), our cleared candidate pool, and our care coordination teams.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor & Manage Candidate Availability:

  • Chase up and confirm weekly availability for all cleared staff on Birdie.
  • Ensure any changes (e.g. cancellations, new commitments) are reflected live in the system.

Internal Liaison & Coordination:

  • Work closely with Recruiters to share availability updates and ensure alignment between candidate data and scheduling needs.
  • Maintain open communication channels to avoid scheduling conflicts or missed shifts.

Compliance & Process Adherence:

  • Ensure all updates are documented and compliant with internal processes.
  • Attend and complete full Birdie training to confidently manage the system.

Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with our candidate pool to encourage timely communication of availability changes.
  • Offer support and clarity where needed to ensure candidates are engaged and responsive.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in outbound call centre agent and admin support (preferably in healthcare or staffing industries).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillscomfortable chasing availability and handling real-time updates.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage live data systems.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and master systems such as Birdie.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
