Compensation: $130,500 – $213,000 + 30% Bonus + $45,000 LTIP Equity

An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Market CFO to oversee financial operations across a multi-hospital system in North Central Kentucky, located just over an hour from Cincinnati, OH. This role offers high visibility, executive partnership, and the ability to directly impact financial performance and long-term strategy.
This position requires a proven CFO with recent experience in a for-profit acute care hospital setting. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
Position Overview
The Market CFO will serve as the senior financial leader, responsible for the overall fiscal health and financial strategy of multiple hospitals within the market. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to drive performance, optimize operations, and support growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all financial functions, including accounting, revenue cycle, reimbursement, and financial reporting
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on long-range planning, capital strategy, and operational forecasting
- Lead the development and execution of annual operating and capital budgets
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve margins and operational efficiency
- Oversee cash flow management, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and oversee audit processes
- Drive cost containment initiatives while identifying opportunities for revenue growth
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master's strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a CFO in a for-profit acute care hospital
- Progressive leadership experience within an investor-owned healthcare organization
- Strong understanding of hospital financial operations, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements
- Hands-on, approachable leadership style with the ability to engage and motivate teams
- Proven ability to influence strategy, drive results, and partner effectively with executive leadership
