Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our digital records. This role involves entering patient information, updating electronic medical records (EMRs), and supporting administrative staff with data management tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, meticulous, and comfortable working in a remote, healthcare-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input and update patient data into electronic systems and databases.

• Review documents and records for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA.

• Assist with data cleanup, migration, and report generation as needed.

• Communicate with internal staff to clarify discrepancies or missing information.

• Follow internal procedures to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

• Meet daily and weekly data entry goals with a high degree of accuracy.

• Support administrative functions and special projects when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data entry, administrative, or healthcare records role.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with EMR software, Microsoft Office, and/or Google Workspace.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Healthcare or medical office experience is a plus.
