Job Role

The EXIM Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end export and import documentation, customs compliance, and shipment coordination to ensure smooth international logistics operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and independent professional capable of handling shipping documentation, monitoring cargo movement, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and resolving operational issues efficiently while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and international trade requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complete export and import documentation processes to support smooth cargo movement.
  • Ensure all shipping and customs documents comply with Indonesian customs regulations and international trade requirements.
  • Coordinate with customers, operational teams, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities regarding shipment schedules and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational or documentation-related issues.
  • Verify and process EXIM documents including PIB, PEB, B/L, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, and related customs documents.
  • Maintain organized documentation records and prepare shipment and compliance reports.
  • Support customs clearance activities and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Utilize logistics systems and Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and operational monitoring.
  • Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and reporting activities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in export-import operations, customs documentation, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong experience handling EXIM documentation such as PIB/PEB, B/L, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, and related shipping documents.
  • Good understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, shipping processes, and international trade documentation flows.
  • PPJK Certification is considered an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using logistics systems or digital operational dashboards.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills for daily coordination and documentation handling.
  • Willing to work full-time on-site in Surabaya.
