To support ongoing operational growth, the company is seeking dedicated professionals to join its fish farming operations team in Uwajima, one of Japan’s most well-known seafood production regions.

Job Role

The Fish Farm Operations Staff will support daily aquaculture activities including feeding, fish health monitoring, sea-pen maintenance, harvesting, and processing operations. This is a hands-on field role requiring strong physical stamina, discipline, and the ability to work closely with Japanese teams in an outdoor marine environment.

The role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about fisheries, aquaculture, Japanese working culture, and long-term career opportunities in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily feeding and fish husbandry operations for premium fish stocks.
  • Monitor fish health, growth conditions, and sea-pen environments.
  • Support harvesting, processing, packaging, and distribution preparation.
  • Maintain aquaculture equipment, nets, cages, and farming facilities.
  • Assist in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards based on Japanese SOPs.
  • Monitor water quality and environmental conditions.
  • Coordinate daily operational activities with Japanese team members.
  • Support general operational and production activities at the farming site.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Vocational School background, preferably in Fisheries, Marine Science, or related fields.
  • Open for candidates with fisheries, aquaculture, production, or heavy manual labor experience.
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in fisheries and Japanese work culture are welcome to apply.
  • Japanese language proficiency is mandatory (JLPT N2 or equivalent).
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, on boats, and handling heavy lifting activities.
  • Disciplined, hardworking, and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willing to relocate and work long-term in Ehime Prefecture, Japan.
