The organization operates within a highly regulated multinational environment where treasury management, tax compliance, customs coordination, and international financial reporting are critical to ensuring seamless business continuity and operational excellence.

Job Role

The Treasury & Accounting Manager – Chinese Speaker is responsible for managing the company’s treasury operations, tax compliance, customs coordination, and full-cycle accounting activities in Cambodia. This role will independently oversee financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, banking coordination, and accounting execution while ensuring compliance with Cambodian regulations and international group standards.

The position requires strong cross-border financial exposure, hands-on accounting capability, and the ability to coordinate directly with banks, customs authorities, tax bureaus, and multinational stakeholders in a fast-paced international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily coordination with banks, tax authorities, customs offices, and external auditors.
  • Handle treasury operations including cash flow monitoring, foreign exchange transactions, and international fund transfers.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, P&L reports, and consolidated reports for headquarters.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, customs procedures, and international accounting standards.
  • Support customs declarations, tax refund processes, and cross-border financial documentation.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial compliance processes.
  • Support budgeting activities, cost analysis, and operational financial monitoring.
  • Identify financial risks and compliance gaps before external audits or regulatory reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Financial Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, or Tax functions.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience handling full-cycle accounting in a senior-level or assistant managerial capacity.
  • Experience within multinational companies, cross-border trade, logistics, or international business environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations, treasury operations, customs procedures, and financial compliance.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards and multinational reporting structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
  • Native Khmer speaker with professional Mandarin and English communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, highly responsible, and capable of working independently in a high-pressure multinational environment.
