Job Role:

The Vertical Solution Expert (VSE) – Transportation Industry is a strategic industry-focused role responsible for bridging transportation-sector business needs, operational scenarios, and enterprise ICT solutions across ports, airports, railways, highways, public transportation, and logistics infrastructure. Working closely with Key Account Managers, sales teams, and internal solution units, this role supports customer engagement, industry solution strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and commercial success through a combination of transportation industry expertise, solution consulting, and enterprise ICT enablement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary industry solution focal point for transportation-sector enterprise accounts including ports, airports, railways, highways, logistics, and urban transportation operators.
• Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers and enterprise sales teams to identify customer opportunities, shape strategic ICT solutions, and support project wins.
• Engage directly with C-level executives, senior stakeholders, and operational leadership teams within transportation organizations.
• Analyze transportation industry operational challenges, automation requirements, and digital transformation initiatives to identify enterprise solution opportunities.
• Translate customer pain points and operational scenarios into scalable ICT and smart transportation solutions aligned with Huawei's technology portfolio.
• Lead scenario-based solution planning and support end-to-end implementation across transportation industry projects.
• Support enterprise solutions related to cloud computing, data center infrastructure, campus networks, SD-WAN, digital transformation platforms, and industrial ICT integration.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, solution, and delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility, solution competitiveness, and commercial viability.
• Participate in industry events, executive workshops, customer forums, and strategic marketing activities to strengthen Huawei's presence within the transportation sector ecosystem.
• Support proposal preparation, executive presentations, solution positioning, and strategic customer communications.
• Share successful implementation cases and project best practices to strengthen internal sales and presales enablement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience engaging with transportation industry customers including ports, airports, railways, urban transportation, highways, logistics, or related infrastructure sectors.
• Strong background in Presales, Account Management, Key Account Management, Solution Consulting, or related enterprise ICT roles within technology companies.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, industrial automation systems, enterprise networking, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting ICT solution implementation involving infrastructure, computing, storage, industrial systems, automation platforms, or enterprise networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of data communication networks, industrial ICT architecture, and integration between IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Hands-on experience with smart transportation systems, intelligent infrastructure technologies, remote monitoring systems, or automated operational management platforms.
• Familiarity with industrial digitalization trends and multi-vendor enterprise solution ecosystems.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and strategic solution development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capability with experience interacting with senior enterprise leadership teams.
• Collaborative, adaptive, and capable of operating effectively within fast-paced and high-pressure enterprise business environments.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
