Job Role:
To strengthen its public sector business expansion and support Indonesia's national digital transformation initiatives, the company is enhancing its Government & Public Sector enterprise sales team. The organization promotes a highly competitive, performance-driven, and relationship-oriented culture focused on strategic account management, enterprise solution selling, and long-term government partnership development.
The Account Manager – Government is responsible for driving business growth, market penetration, and enterprise ICT solution sales across government institutions, ministries, police, military, and other public sector organizations in Indonesia. This role carries full accountability for managing end-to-end sales operations, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring successful project execution across Huawei's enterprise ICT portfolio.
The position requires a highly driven and commercially minded sales professional capable of navigating complex government procurement environments, engaging senior public sector stakeholders, and positioning large-scale ICT solutions aligned with Indonesia's digital transformation priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned revenue, collection, market share, and sales performance targets across government and public sector accounts.
- Identify and develop new enterprise ICT business opportunities within ministries, public agencies, police, military, and other government-related institutions.
- Manage end-to-end enterprise sales activities including opportunity development, customer engagement, bidding, negotiation, contract closure, and project execution.
- Promote Huawei's enterprise ICT solutions including networking, wireless, storage, datacom, Wi-Fi, collaboration platforms, and smart office technologies.
- Position enterprise technology solutions aligned with customer operational requirements, digital transformation initiatives, and strategic government priorities.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government stakeholders, decision-makers, and senior leadership teams.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project implementation and operational delivery.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and procurement trends to strengthen market positioning and improve business performance.
- Prepare accurate business forecasts, pipeline reviews, sales reports, and operational updates for management review.
- Support strategic account planning and long-term customer engagement initiatives to strengthen Huawei's presence within the public sector ecosystem.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of direct enterprise sales experience within ICT, telecommunications, or technology solution industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Government or Public Sector accounts within enterprise IT/ICT environments.
- Strong network and existing relationships within Indonesian Government institutions, ministries, police, military, or related public sector organizations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise ICT business processes, government procurement environments, and public sector project operations.
- Experience selling enterprise ICT products including datacom, storage, networking, wireless, Wi-Fi, collaboration tools, or related infrastructure solutions.
- Proven track record managing large-scale ICT projects and end-to-end enterprise sales operations.
- Strong capability in account management, business forecasting, pipeline development, and strategic customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior government decision-makers.
- Familiarity with government bidding processes, procurement regulations, and long-cycle public sector project management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Highly target-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and capable of operating effectively within highly competitive sales environments.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building capability.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
