Job Role
The Accountant Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance monitoring, and internal financial controls within the Indonesia business operations. This role supports the company’s growing multinational logistics activities by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting aligned with Indonesian accounting and taxation standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with both local and overseas stakeholders, including headquarters, while supporting audit activities, transfer pricing compliance, financial system management, and internal reporting processes within a dynamic international business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic financial reports including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, and monthly closing activities.
- Handle bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy between financial records and banking transactions.
- Manage and maintain accounting systems and financial software for operational reporting.
- Analyze financial data and prepare financial summaries to support management decision-making.
- Support internal and external audit processes, including transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with Indonesian accounting standards, taxation regulations, and company policies.
- Review invoices, payment requests, and accounting documentation through the company’s internal financial systems.
- Organize and maintain accounting records, vouchers, and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist in developing and improving finance-related SOPs and internal controls.
- Coordinate with headquarters and internal departments regarding financial matters and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in general ledger accounting or related accounting functions.
- Professional working proficiency in both Mandarin and English is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting practices.
- Experienced in using accounting systems, finance software, Oracle/EBS, bookkeeping systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced multinational environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Willing to work within an international business environment and support long-term overseas coordination if required.
