Job Role

The Air Freight Sales Assistant Manager is responsible for driving business development and account expansion within the air freight segment, focusing on international clients and time-sensitive logistics solutions. The role combines commercial solution selling, tender management, pricing simulation, and customer relationship management to secure and grow strategic B2B logistics opportunities.

The position also acts as a logistics consultant by designing tailored air freight solutions that balance operational efficiency, lead-time requirements, and cost competitiveness while ensuring smooth coordination with internal operations and international stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new B2B customers within the Air Freight and Logistics segment.
  • Manage and expand relationships with international and strategic clients.
  • Conduct pricing simulations and manage tender processes for air freight services.
  • Develop tailored logistics and air cargo solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate international air import/export activities and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international air freight procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support customer meetings, negotiations, and logistics solution presentations.


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Direct Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within Freight Forwarding, 3PL, or Air Freight industries.
  • Experience selling logistics and supply chain solutions under a B2B business model.
  • Currently at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level.
  • Strong understanding of Air Freight operations, route optimization, and air cargo handling.
  • Experience managing tenders, pricing simulations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Knowledge of international air import/export processes and customs regulations.
  • Proven experience handling international or strategic corporate accounts.
  • Professional fluency in English for business communication and negotiations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
