Job Role
The Vice Principal for Kindergarten serves as a middle-management academic operations leader responsible for supporting the Head of Kindergarten in executing daily school programs. This role ensures that all academic and operational activities are implemented effectively in alignment with institutional standards, curriculum requirements, and school values.
The position plays a key role in coordinating teachers, managing schedules, monitoring classroom execution, and ensuring the quality of early childhood education delivery. It also acts as a communication bridge between school leadership and teaching staff to ensure smooth operational flow and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate school leadership directives into operational plans for kindergarten programs
- Coordinate daily learning schedules, classroom activities, and academic programs
- Monitor classroom implementation to ensure teaching quality and curriculum compliance
- Support teachers by identifying required teaching materials and learning resources
- Collect and analyze student and teacher performance data for reporting purposes
- Prepare periodic academic and operational progress reports for management
- Lead teacher coordination meetings and facilitate best-practice sharing
- Act as a communication bridge between leadership and teaching staff
- Mediate and resolve operational issues or classroom-level challenges
- Ensure smooth execution of all kindergarten academic and non-academic activities
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education or school operations
- Currently in a mid-level or strategic academic/operational role in a school environment
- Strong understanding of kindergarten-level curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment standards
- Proven ability to coordinate and guide teachers without direct authority
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Good computer literacy and reporting ability
- Strong integrity, service-oriented mindset, and professional communication style
- Passion for education and alignment with school values and programs
- Professional-level English proficiency for communication and reporting
