Job Role

The Senior Coal Sales Executive will focus on expanding the company's coal trading business by developing new client networks, managing commercial activities, and strengthening relationships across the coal supply chain. The role requires strong market knowledge, hands-on sales execution capabilities, and the ability to manage daily commercial coordination with clients and internal teams.

This position plays an important role in driving coal sales growth, supporting trading operations, monitoring market developments, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, logistics, and headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and expand coal trading customer networks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with coal miners, traders, distributors, industrial users, and logistics partners.
  • Handle daily sales activities including client inquiries, pricing discussions, negotiations, and order follow-ups.
  • Prepare commercial documents such as quotations, contracts, purchase orders, and sales reports.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules and resolve operational issues together with logistics and supply chain teams.
  • Monitor coal market trends, pricing movements, regulations, and supply-demand developments.
  • Support market penetration initiatives and identify potential new sales channels.
  • Provide regular business and sales updates to management and overseas headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mining, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in coal sales, coal trading, commodity marketing, or mining-related commercial roles.
  • Must have direct experience working in coal mining or coal trading companies.
  • Strong understanding of coal specifications, calorific values, pricing structures, logistics, and supply chains.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian mining regulations, export processes, and commodity trading practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Highly proactive, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent Mandarin is mandatory, with professional English proficiency.
