To strengthen its cloud business expansion strategy in Indonesia, the company is enhancing its commercial and ecosystem development capabilities within the Cloud Business Unit (CBU). The organization promotes a highly performance-driven, technology-oriented, and customer-centric culture focused on accelerating enterprise cloud adoption and building sustainable digital ecosystems.
The Business Development Manager – Cloud is responsible for driving cloud business growth through strategic customer acquisition, ecosystem development, and go-to-market execution across key industry verticals. This role carries full accountability for identifying new cloud business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and supporting the adoption of cloud solutions including public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, SaaS, and PaaS offerings.
The position requires a commercially driven and strategically minded business development professional capable of engaging enterprise stakeholders, building partner ecosystems, and aligning customer business objectives with scalable cloud transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement cloud business development strategies and drive revenue growth across targeted industries including government, finance, manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, fintech, media, gaming, and enterprise sectors.
- Identify and develop new cloud business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and industry transformation initiatives.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the full business lifecycle, from opportunity identification and solution positioning to contract closure and post-sales support.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with software vendors, system integrators, channel partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to expand market reach and joint business opportunities.
- Design and position cloud solution proposals aligned with customer requirements, commercial objectives, competitive positioning, and operational feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with sales, technical, and delivery teams to execute go-to-market initiatives and ensure successful customer engagement activities.
- Support ecosystem enablement initiatives including partner training, certification programs, and joint capability development activities.
- Monitor project execution and customer satisfaction to ensure successful solution delivery and long-term customer success.
- Gather market feedback and customer insights to support continuous improvement of cloud products, services, and commercial strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development roles within the cloud computing or ICT industry.
- Proven experience handling cloud-related products and services including public cloud, private cloud, SaaS, PaaS, or hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, enterprise digital transformation, and cloud market ecosystems.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Strong network and business insights within industries such as government, education, manufacturing, logistics, finance, e-commerce, fintech, media, or gaming.
- Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and strategic ecosystem partners.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand customer business objectives and influence strategic purchasing decisions.
- Demonstrated capability in developing business plans, managing project operations, and driving customer success initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of operating effectively within fast-paced and target-driven business environments.
- Strong teamwork capability, proactive working attitude, and high responsiveness to customer needs.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
