Job Role
The Assistant to Director (Chinese Speaker) plays a critical role in supporting the Director's daily operations, strategic coordination, and cross-border communication activities. This position acts as a bridge between leadership and operational teams, ensuring projects, business priorities, and executive initiatives are executed effectively and on schedule.
The role requires a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable professional who is comfortable working in a fast-moving fintech environment while handling multiple priorities, stakeholder communications, and confidential business matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Director's daily schedule, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Support executive-level coordination and follow-up for strategic business initiatives.
- Translate and interpret communications, presentations, and documents in Mandarin, English, and Indonesian.
- Coordinate operational updates and project timelines between local and regional teams.
- Monitor project execution and ensure alignment between management and operational departments.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders from Singapore and China.
- Prepare reports, meeting summaries, and business documentation for management review.
- Support the monitoring of licensing processes, business partnerships, and technology integration initiatives.
- Utilize project management and communication tools to track progress and execution across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from relevant fields; graduates from reputable universities are preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as Executive Assistant, Business Assistant, or similar support role.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written.
- Strong multitasking, coordination, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with fintech, payment systems, POS terminals, or digital business environments is preferred.
- Experienced in using collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Trello, Jira, or similar platforms.
