Job Role:

The IP Pre Sales Engineer is responsible for driving Huawei's enterprise IP Datacom business across key Financial Industry and enterprise accounts in Indonesia. This role focuses on designing competitive networking solutions, supporting strategic bidding activities, and acting as the technical advisor during customer engagements. Working closely with account managers, product teams, and delivery engineers, the position plays a critical role in translating complex customer requirements into scalable and commercially competitive enterprise network architectures.

The role combines deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing and solution-selling capabilities. The successful candidate will support enterprise networking projects involving routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, MPLS, SRv6, and carrier-grade network technologies while strengthening Huawei's competitiveness against major global networking vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Huawei's IP Datacom portfolio including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking solutions.
  • Design scenario-based enterprise network architectures tailored to banking, telecom, ISP, and mission-critical customer environments.
  • Support account managers during technical presentations, workshops, requirement analysis, and customer solution discussions.
  • Lead technical proposal preparation, solution design, BoQ creation, and RFI/RFP response activities.
  • Participate in tender presentations and solution defense against competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and project success.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer requirements to improve solution competitiveness.
  • Support Proof of Concept (POC), technical demonstrations, and enterprise networking workshops.
  • Provide technical enablement and product training to internal teams and business partners.
  • Contribute to long-term solution strategy and regional product competitiveness initiatives.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related ICT disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT Product Sales, Solution Sales, or Pre Sales Engineering within enterprise networking environments.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise or carrier-grade network architectures for Financial Services Industry customers.
  • Hands-on expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking technologies from vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols including IGP, BGP, MPLS, SR, SRv6, L2VPN, and L3VPN.
  • Experience supporting RFI/RFP, tender management, technical proposal writing, and enterprise solution presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise and financial industry network infrastructure environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and business decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance technical competitiveness and commercial positioning.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative in fast-paced environments.
  • Professional fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
