Internal Auditor | Hospitality Sector
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Salary: €32,000 Gross per Annum

Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and high-integrity Internal Auditor to join our finance team. In the fast-paced environment of a premier hotel, you will be the guardian of our financial health and operational standards. Your mission is to ensure that every transaction—from room bookings to restaurant inventory—is accurate, transparent, and compliant with both group policies and Cyprus law.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Auditing: Conduct regular audits of all revenue centers, including Front Office, Food & Beverage outlets, Spa, and Retail.
- Internal Controls: Design, implement, and test controls to prevent fraud, waste, and "shrinkage" (inventory loss).
- Financial Reconciliation: Verify the accuracy of the Night Audit and ensure daily receipts match Property Management System (PMS) reports.
- Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to Cyprus VAT regulations, labor laws, and GDPR requirements.
- Inventory Oversight: Oversee monthly stock-takes for kitchens, bars, and housekeeping, investigating any significant variances.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports for management, identifying "red flags" and providing actionable recommendations for cost-saving and efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: Progress toward or completion of ACCA or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in auditing, ideally within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hotel Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Professional proficiency in Greek is a strong advantage.
