Location: Limassol

Industry: Premium Wine & Spirits Distribution

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for the fast-paced world of premium beverages? Our company, a leading importer and distributor of fine wines and spirits (Cava) in Cyprus, is looking for a Cost Controller to join our Limassol team.

In this role, you arent just "counting bottles." You are the financial strategist ensuring our supply chain—from European vineyards to the tables of Limassols finest hotels and restaurants—is lean, profitable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Landed Cost Management: Calculate and audit the total "into-warehouse" cost of products, including freight, customs clearance, and Cyprus excise duties.
  • Margin Protection: Work closely with the Sales and Purchasing teams to maintain healthy gross margins across different client tiers (Wholesale, HoReCa, and Retail).
  • Inventory Governance: Oversee stock levels and movements within our Limassol warehouse. Identify and mitigate "Dead Stock" or shrinkage risks.
  • Pricing & Rebates: Maintain the master price list and track supplier volume rebates to ensure all financial incentives are captured.
  • Logistics Analysis: Evaluate delivery route efficiency and third-party transport costs to optimize the "last-mile" delivery to our clients.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide monthly variance reports (Actual vs. Budget) to the Management team, highlighting areas for cost-saving.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG, Hospitality, or Logistics.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced Excel: Must be comfortable with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.

    • ERP Experience: Familiarity with systems like SAP, Navision, or Cycom is a major plus.
    • Knowledge of Incoterms and local Cyprus customs/excise regulations.
  • Languages: * Fluent in English and Greek (written and verbal).

    • Russian language is strongly preferred due to our international client base and stakeholder profile.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a "forensic" eye for detail—you spot a 1% discrepancy before it becomes a problem.
  • Thrives in a multicultural business environment.
  • Can translate complex data into clear, actionable advice for the Sales team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity to work with world-renowned beverage brands.
  • A dynamic, professional environment in the heart of Cypruss shipping and hospitality hub.
  • Continuous professional development and training.
