Position: Video Editor (Reels/Shorts)

Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join their team in Dearborn, MI. This is a part-time position that will be responsible for taking long videos and creating reels and shorts from them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and create high-quality reels and shorts from long videos

- Work closely with the content team to understand the vision and style of each project

- Use video editing software to enhance footage, add effects, and create a cohesive final product

- Ensure all videos meet brand standards and are visually appealing

- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for video content

- Manage and organize video files and assets

- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work within a timely manner

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role

- Previous video editing work

- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to take direction and implement feedback effectively

- Flexible schedule and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
