Software Engineer-AI

Our client is looking for a bunch of very experienced software engineers who are looking for an environment where they get to build 0-1 AI solutions that get used by millions of users at a variety of clients. We are hiring in both SF and NYC. We do not have an office yet in NYC, so any candidates from there will play a role in establishing our next office.

What to Look For

• Top 10th percentile engineers - customers pay us a huge premium to work with our engineers
• Engineering generalists who lean backend - not AI experts, not ML / data science experts
• People who have built 0 to 1 - not just taking tickets for a small piece of the product at a FAANG
• Able to balance quality code with speed of delivery
• Customer facing skills
• Deeply comfortable with ambiguity / track record of solving problems that other people couldnt solve (e.g., our customers hire us when their engineers have failed to solve the problems internally)
• Usually this looks like 10+ yrs of experience
