Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Director to lead and grow a well-established finance and accounting staffing team within the Minneapolis market. This leadership role will focus on driving business development, mentoring and supporting a lean but highly tenured team, and expanding client relationships within a collaborative and autonomous environment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, a proven track record in finance and accounting staffing, and the ability to operate independently while contributing to a high-energy, relationship-focused culture. This position offers direct exposure to regional leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in market growth and team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts and drive revenue growth within the Minneapolis market
- Manage and support a small, experienced team within a collaborative staffing environment
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Develop and execute market growth strategies within finance and accounting staffing
- Partner with recruiting teams to deliver talent solutions aligned with client needs
- Manage full-cycle sales activities from prospecting through closing and account expansion
- Mentor and guide team members while fostering a positive and high-performance culture
- Maintain strong pipeline activity and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with regional leadership on operational strategy and market expansion initiatives
- Represent the organization within the local business community and industry networks
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience required
- Background within finance and accounting staffing strongly preferred
- Proven success in business development and client relationship management
- Experience leading teams within staffing, recruiting, or B2B sales environments
- Ability to work independently without heavy management oversight
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and relationship-driven environments
- Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build trust and credibility with both clients and internal teams
