Mechanic / Machinist

Position Summary

A full-time, on-site opportunity is available for a Mechanic / Machinist to support the repair, rebuilding, and machining of mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical skills and experience working with industrial components. The position involves working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, in a structured and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Rebuild and overhaul pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment from initial disassembly through final assembly and testing
• Operate manual machining equipment, including vertical mills and engine lathes, to fabricate or restore parts
• Clean, inspect, and evaluate components to determine wear, damage, and suitability for reuse or replacement
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy and proper tolerances
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in mechanical rebuilding and machining
• Strong proficiency with manual vertical mills and engine lathes
• Solid understanding of precision measurement and tolerances
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations
• Additional machining or electrical knowledge is a plus
