Role Overview
Responsible for managing and improving production scheduling to ensure efficient operations. Aligns schedules with demand, maintains accurate data, and supports performance through analysis and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage daily production schedules based on demand, inventory, materials, and capacity
- Review schedules, priorities, and system data to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with production, inventory, sales, and other teams to resolve conflicts and shortages
- Monitor production flow and identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks
- Prepare and analyze reports on production, inventory, and performance metrics
- Improve planning, scheduling processes, and reporting systems
- Support inventory control, stock reviews, and accuracy improvements
- Ensure the availability of materials and supplies for continuous production
- Maintain accurate planning and inventory data in systems
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Collaborate with leadership to improve planning visibility and effectiveness
- Follow safety procedures and complete additional assigned tasks
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment (high SKU preferred)
- Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with reporting and data analysis expertise
- Proven ability to coordinate across production, inventory, and sales functions
- Solid understanding of production flow and inventory control
