Attorney - Shareholder
Our Client is seeking an experienced Attorney Shareholder specializing in Employment Law to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a full-time, permanent member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that values teamwork, diversity, and a commitment to excellence.
As an Attorney Shareholder, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on a variety of employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employee benefits. You will also be responsible for managing a team of attorneys and paralegals, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on employment law matters
- Manage a team of attorneys and paralegals, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations
- Mentor and train junior attorneys and staff members
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing employment law
- Experience managing a team of attorneys and paralegals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload
- Proven track record of successful client relationships and business development
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in legal research and writing
- Ability to travel as needed
