You will help clients navigate personal injury and workers compensation claims, providing legal counsel, representation, and advocacy.

Onsite - Kalamazoo or St. Joseph, MI

Main Responsibilities:

• Client Consultations:** Discuss client personal injury claims and explain the legal process.
• Case Investigation:** Gather evidence, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
• Claim Filing:** Prepare and file claims, ensuring all documents are complete.
• Negotiation:** Negotiate with insurance companies and others to secure favorable settlements.
• Litigation:** Represent clients in hearings and trials when needed.
• Client Support:** We provide ongoing support and quickly address any questions.
• **Documentation:** Keep detailed case records to track progress and meet legal standards.
• **Legal Research:** Research laws and regulations relevant to each case.
• **Legal Strategy:** Create tailored legal strategies for each client.
• **Legal Updates:** Stay informed about changes in Michigan laws to support our clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan bar admission, open to newly barred and experienced candidates.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to client-focused outcomes.
