Customer Service – Inside Sales Representative
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
Role Overview
A growing food distribution company is seeking a relationship-driven Customer Service – Inside Sales Representative to support its expanding inside sales team. This role focuses on managing customer relationships, processing orders, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring efficient coordination between customers and operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.
- Process and manage customer orders from entry through delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication.
- Support inside sales efforts, identify opportunities, and contribute to account growth.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to manage inventory and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems.
- Provide administrative support for sales operations.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of customer service or inside sales experience (food or related industry preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM and order management systems preferred.
