Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk management efforts including claims investigation, data analysis, and staff education to reduce liabilities and enhance patient safety.

  • Serve as the facilitys Patient Safety Officer, spearheading the implementation of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals.

  • Oversee internal/external audits and compliance with regulatory standards including OSHA and JCAHO.

  • Conduct and chair ethics committee meetings and manage concerns/complaints with professionalism and discretion.

  • Develop and monitor department goals, staffing, budgeting, and continuous improvement programs.

What Youll Bring:

Must-Haves:

  • Active North Carolina or Multistate Nursing License or in good standing able to attain one

  • Bachelors Degree.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare risk management or claims investigation/management.

  • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and foster collaborative relationships.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior management or supervisory experience.

  • Familiarity with OSHA and JCAHO standards.

  • Background in medical or pharmaceutical sales.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
