About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Emergency Services to oversee ER operations. This includes managing a dedicated clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, maintaining accreditation standards, and managing budgets and productivity benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor emergency department staff

  • Develop, implement, and enforce ER policies and procedures

  • Maintain budgetary and productivity accountability

  • Drive quality improvement and throughput initiatives

  • Facilitate collaboration with pre-hospital providers and system stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards

What Youll Need to Succeed:

  • Required: Current or eligible New Mexico RN license

  • Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Preferred: MSN, MBA, or degree in Healthcare Administration

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in healthcare with at least 3 years in a leadership role; for-profit hospital experience strongly preferred

  • Proven success building and leading teams with a focus on quality and performance

  • Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Certifications:

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

  • TNCC to be obtained upon hire if not already acquired
