McGuire, Fecarotta & Jackson is assisting a highly regarded national law firm in identifying a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Dallas office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial disputes for an impressive client base spanning a range of industries.

Position Overview

The firm seeks a litigation associate with 3 to 8 years of experience in handling sophisticated business disputes. The ideal candidate will bring strong case management capabilities and courtroom experience, and be ready to take an active role from day one in a dynamic, trial-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day progress on active litigation matters, including strategy, client communications, and coordination of case activities.
  • Draft and argue motions, appear in court, and handle oral advocacy with confidence.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of fact witnesses, parties, and experts.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on trial preparation, hearings, and discovery strategy.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, ideally gained at a large law firm or a well-established litigation boutique.
  • Strong command of litigation procedure and ability to lead key phases of litigation independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and sound legal judgment.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Texas or eligible for admission.

Compensation:
