About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a motivated litigation associate to join a dynamic and growing team. The firm has experienced tremendous success recently, leading to an influx of exciting new opportunities from high-profile clients. They are expanding their team to keep up with demand and maintain their standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, engaging in motion practice, and taking depositions.
  • Represent major insurance companies, handling both first and third-party disputes.
  • Work primarily in federal court, with significant exposure to high-level litigation.
  • Engage with clients directly, building and managing relationships early in your tenure.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Litigation defense experience required; insurance experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Federal Court Expertise: Must have hands-on federal court experience.
  • Go-Getter Mentality: A proactive approach to managing cases and a strong desire to handle significant responsibilities.
  • Class Year Range: Ideal candidates will have 3-8 years of experience. However, those with 2 years (close to their 3rd year) or 9-11 years will be considered if the fit is right.
  • California Bar Membership: Required; candidates must reside in California.

The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 - $200,000. The final offer will depend on several factors, such as applicable experience, market trends, job location, and other lawful job-related considerations.
