General (Breast) Surgeon

Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a General Surgeon with a focus in Breast Surgery to join our expanding surgical team in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Highlights

• Full-time employed position within a growing surgical program
• Opportunity to help expand breast surgery services
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with oncology, radiology, and women's health

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgery procedures and breast surgeries (lumpectomy, mastectomy, etc.)
• Manage benign and malignant breast conditions
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer care initiatives
• Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for Maine medical licensure
• Breast surgery or surgical oncology experience preferred
