About the job Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (Aurora)
Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Primary Care team. This is a full-time opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a mission-driven, patient-focused environment alongside a supportive team of physicians and clinical staff.
Position Details
- Full-time employment in an outpatient primary care clinic
- Open to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- See patients for preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
- Collaborate closely with a team of physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
- Manage your own patient panel with opportunities for continuity of care
- Monday-Friday schedule with minimal call responsibility
- Average of 16-24 patients per day
- 36 hours of patient contact per week
- Supportive work environment with strong physician collaboration
Qualifications
- Licensed NP or PA in the state of Illinois
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (NP) or appropriate PA certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Primary Care or Family Practice experience preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply
