About the job Certified Nurse Midwife
Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing women's health team. This is a unique opportunity to serve a diverse community in a supportive, patient-focused environment alongside a collaborative team of OB/GYNs, midwives, and clinical staff.
Position Details
- Full-time employment
- Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group Joliet, IL
- Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
- Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds
- Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
- Annual compensation range: $100,000 - $115,000
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in the State of Illinois
- Masters degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program
- Minimum of 1 year midwifery experience preferred (strong new grads encouraged to apply)
- BLS and NRP certifications required
