Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its hospital-owned multi-specialty medical group in Redding, California. This opportunity offers immediate patient demand, strong hospital support, and the ability to build a busy practice serving a large Northern California population.

The incoming physician will practice bread-and-butter gastroenterology with ERCP capability, supported by hospital resources and a growing referral base across the region.

Practice Overview

Shasta Regional Medical Center serves Northern California with a full range of medical and surgical specialties. Gastroenterology services in the community are currently supported by five GI physicians operating primarily through a local endoscopy center and community practices.

This opportunity allows the incoming physician to establish a hospital-supported gastroenterology practice with strong referral support from the hospital medical group and regional providers.

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care

• Perform general GI procedures including ERCP

• Manage consults and endoscopic procedures

• Collaborate with primary care physicians and hospital specialists

Schedule

Full-Time

• Typical clinic and procedural hours approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Call

• Approximately 1 week of call per month (shared schedule)

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Experience or training in ERCP preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative mindset

• Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates

Compensation

• Base salary: $450,000 – $550,000 annually

• Productivity bonus based on collections

• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available

• Health insurance: self-funded EPO (HMO) at no cost to provider
