Company: McPhee Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client in the North Derbyshire area. We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join a dynamic culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Innovate and introduce new dessert concepts to the menu.
  • Oversee the preparation and baking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role for at least 3 years.
  • Strong creative skills with a passion for pastry arts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
