Intern - Food & Beverage (Russian Speaking)

Position Overview:

McQueen International is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join the Food & Beverage team for one of our client in high-end Luxury Resort at the Maldives. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic international hospitality environment. This position is specifically for Russian speakers, as you will be interacting with Russian guests on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, including but not limited to: setting up and clearing tables, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments

- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded

- Communicate effectively with Russian-speaking guests, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and bar areas

- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the Food & Beverage industry

Qualifications:

- Fluent in Russian and English (verbal and written)

- Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related program, or recent graduate

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is an asset

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Must be able to legally work in Maldives for the duration of the internship
