As a Human Capital Executive at Manhattan Grand Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the pre-opening phase and ongoing HR operations. This role involves end-to-end coordination of recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and driving engagement activities, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s culture, brand promise, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

 Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and reference checks.

  • Support zero-based manning analysis and mobilization for pre-opening staffing.

  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters in line with company policies.

  • Conduct employee onboarding, documentation, and orientation sessions.

 HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (digital and physical).

  • Monitor contract expiry, probation confirmations, and visa renewals.

  • Prepare HR-related reports, letters, memos, and dashboards for leadership review.

  • Ensure all activities are compliant with Maldivian labor laws and company SOPs.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Assist in planning and executing engagement and welfare activities in alignment with the brand’s “Great Place to Work” philosophy.

  • Support grievance handling, employee feedback, and recognition initiatives.

 Performance & Training Coordination

  • Track performance appraisals, KPIs, and L&D calendars.

  • Liaise with training vendors and department heads to schedule compliance and service training.

HR Systems & Communication

  • Update and maintain HR systems (HRIS/payroll/time attendance platforms).

  • Support internal communication related to HR policies, updates, and events.

Qualifications & Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the hospitality or service sectorFamiliar with HR software, MS Office Suite, and documentation practices. Knowledge of Maldivian labor law and HR compliance practices. Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dhivehi is an advantage.
