About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in Australian accounting and bookkeeping practices, coupled with BPO experience. This role requires expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial transactions.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting and Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities adhering to Australian accounting standards.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and BAS reporting.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
Process and monitor accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
Handle discrepancies or disputes related to accounts with professionalism and efficiency.
- System Maintenance
Work with accounting software (Xero) for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
Regularly review and maintain accurate records in line with company policies.
- Operational Reliability
Maintain high availability with a reliable internet connection and power backup to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Collaborate effectively in a remote work environment, utilizing virtual tools and communication platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
6-10 years of work experience including at least 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting/bookkeeping.
Experience in BPO environments with exposure to international clients, preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Proficiency in Australian tax laws, GST, and BAS compliance.
Expertise in accounting software Xero, which is used for all entities.
Experience with Elmo payroll software a plus
Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Reliable internet connection and power backup to ensure consistent workflow.
Shift / Hours:
Monday Friday in one single shift, 8:00 AM AEST 5:00 PM AEST, which is 6:00 AM 3:00 PM PHT.
