RN- Surgical Unit UP TO $15,000 Sign On Bonus

Job Description:

Med Staff USA is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Unit team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for candidates with at least 12 months of hospital acute care experience.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history

- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records

- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Valid and current RN license in the state of practice

- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital acute care setting (less than 12 months of experience may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $9,000)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)

- Experience working in a surgical unit is preferred, but not required
